DEI AND CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION CAMPAIGN


Embracing the benefits and opportunities diversity brings requires focus and intention. The recently launched Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council is made up of employees from throughout the network to help guide us in these efforts. Their insights and initiatives helped launch The Christ Hospital's new core values that were introduced this year:

  • We act WITH SHARED DETERMINATION

The team has worked tirelessly to provide additional resources to our employees, including company-wide trainings, and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Resource Guide – covering language and terms that promote inclusion, and resources for further education on diversity and inclusion. This team has helped lead many internal initiatives to give back to our employees along with several local partnerships. The NEST program, or Nourishing Employee Strengths and Talents, also became available this year. The program specializes in assisting and nourishing entry-level employees with support and career/life coaching. There are three phases to the program: Healthier eating, addressing emergent needs and helping achieve dreams.
